Sometimes Google makes me soooooo angry - and on top of losing another Scrabble Game tonight. I am definitely going to bed in a few minues. I WILL NOT play another game, even if the opponent is from an exotic land of somewhere. I can't think of any exotic place right now.
Well Diane, the gist of my first - and much more polite comment - was I was glad to see your post and was sorry about the legs and their uncooperation to step up. I don't know why, but I just heard Bob's voice in my head telling Baby Bird "step up". Somehow it didn't go with the mental picture of you being helped up after collapsing on the ground. At any rate I hope the shrinkage will happen quickly and get those legs moving properly. I know how embarrassing it is to be picked up off the ground by strangers. I imagine Liz does too. Do you stumble around too Susie?
I can't think of anything I want to say right now so I am not sure why I am still sitting here pecking away. I need to get up early and go go go again tomorrow.
I hope you sisters in the cold midwest don't get too much snow. Chatted with Gordon and he said 3-6 inches is expected. If this nasty weather ever slows down I am ready for a trip to Ohio. In the meantime I think you should consider coming here, but I can't guarantee much warmer.

OMG! You two are quite entertaining! Your comments, info, lamentations, resemblences, and wonderful writing skills just kept me on the edge of my seat - and really made me laugh out loud, belly laugh style (not a pretty picture).
ReplyDeleteWell, we certainly have a bunch of stinking snow out there. Dan and I went to Sam's Club and I now refuse to go back out again. Of course, not having a fenced yard means someone has to take the dogs out. Hmmmmmmm, wonder who that will be! The little guy, with all his hair comes back with TONS of snowballs all over him and you have to put him in the sink with warm water to get rid of them. Not fun.
I've been busy with the Virginia stuff but it isn't as hectic as it was to begin with. The latest thing I've been working on is the AT&T stocks, which should total up to about $250,000! I've met with appraisers and auctioneers but not a lot can happen now until the heir searcher person makes sure that everyone is accounted for. Lord, I hope we don't find any more people!
I bet the quilts will be just beautiful, Diane. I've just about given up on crafty things right now - even selling some of my cardmaking supplies on eBay. It really feels good though to be cleaning out - again. Maybe when we finish this house and sell it then I will get back into something or another. I would like to try making jewelry someday. Of course, I still would like to make some scrapbooks. Wish, wish, wish.....
I wish I could view all the stuff you guys said so I could comment but it seems when i try to do that I lose whatever I've typed.
I'm closing for now and I'm happy that Lori's rambling got this going again. I need to go help Danny-boy with the floor so I'll talk to you all later.
Diane, I hope your uncooperative leg syndrome easing a bit. You should carry a camera with you and, like Mom, have people take your picture. REally, please don't be humiliated. Be happy, don't worry!
I love you girls.
