March 1st?

How did March get here already? It feels like Christmas was just a few weeks ago. Of course you snowbound people in Ohio are probably looking for any sign of Spring. We are too really. I think this has been the coldest winter in many years. Our electric bills reflect that too.

I am looking forward to seeing you all in May. I am excited that Troy and Bobbie are going to come for the Race for the Cure. Maybe you could check and see about tee shirts Lizzie. If everyone showed up in our families there would be a small army.

My brain isn't coming up with anything to talk about so that's it for now.

  1. One of the nice things about March being here already is the fact that that means more birdies singing in the morning, talk of baseball's spring training, Daylight Savings Time in just a couple of weeks. Of course, last year on March 8 I have a Flickr picture of that same table on my deck with about 10" of snow on it! Hopefully, we won't see that again.
I'm getting excited about the Race for the Cure too! I'll go on their site and figure out how to register our group. I will also see about t-shirts, etc. Then I will report to one and all!
Back to March, it is amazing about how time has been flying! We are busy trying to finish our indoor projects before nice weather gets here and tempts us outside. I truly hope we can finish all our 'stuff' and be ready to sell this big money pit this fall - no later than next spring. Then we hope to hit the road, doing a little travel and enjoying life.
I've been excerising on my little mini trampoline and it sure is a site to behold - which none of you will actually be able to 'behold' because I am struggling with balance issues. all the more reason to keep it up so I won't be an old lady falling all over the place and making a fool of myself. Balance... we must have balance.
Don't know if I told you girls but there are 6 ew claims again OUR MONEY! They are somehow relaed to Virginia and I have yet to talk to the attorney about this. I'll report back but it sort of looks like they are not blood relatives. More to come.
Our little foster doggy went to his new home today. I was really loving that little guy and it seems so odd that he's not here looking at me right now. I really liked the lady who adopted him so that makes it better. Hopefully, Dan will say NO to the next one - at least until we have more decent weather. We will see what we will see.
Gotta go, Sissies. Love to all.

  3. Yay! I am glad March is here and February is gone. Bob is usually in a funky mood in Feb because that is the anniversary of his heart atttack (11 dang years ago!!!). I say it is a blessing month to celebrate that he has been here 11 dang years!!

April is just around the corner and that is a wonderful month.

And, I cannot wait for May. I should be feeling pretty perky and I hope to do the Race for the Cure. I will be there in some form. But I am exercizing and building up some stamina and by then probably huge bulging muscles.

Liz, when you go to the attorney's office maybe I will meet you in German Village for lunch or something.
