Earl has gone to bed to read and I have been wasting time looking around on the internet. Where does the time go when I sit down for just a few minutes and before long a whole hour is gone.
I actually did post something yesterday, but it showed up after yours Lizzie because I started it before yours, but saved it and then added to it. Nothing of much interest in it I doubt.
I am missing each and everyone of you a bunch this evening. I wish we could just all have a silly conference call. I think I can do that with my phone. Just have to figure out how to do it and when we would all be available.

WOW, I didn't even see your other blog - the one before mine! I kept looking to see if anyone responded and all along it was just sitting there ready for me to read. How sad.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from lunch. I was going to go run errands but the weather is so beautiful here today and when I passed Oscar's restaurant, I decided to go there and eat my lunch on the patio - right in the sun. I read my book and soaked up the sunshine. Made me happy - all except for those darn women who don't have to work (like most of you) who were just casually eating lunch like they had no where to go! All in all, I enjoyed myself immensely but I would have liked to have one of you joining me.
I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and, finally, it is a nonstop reading type book. It was a very slow start and if I hadn't paid good cash for it, I probably would have stopped reading it right at the beginning.
We're taking our RV out for one night this coming weekend. We thought we should start small so a one-nighter will be good practice. Besides, since we didn't think about it in time, we probably couldn't get in anywhere on a holiday weekend. I'm off next Monday and Tuesday so we'll probably just go Monday when everyone else is packing up to go home. That way there won't be that many people around watching and making fun of us!
Work is crazy so I must get back to 'things' here. Hope you are all just great.
