Here I come

I have a few minutes before I need to leave for Mah Jongg so thought I would share my excitement about seeing youse girls. Everything is packed and ready to roll out the door tomorrow morning at 5:45 or so. The flights look good on the way and on the way home unless a soccer team or some large last minute vacation group decides to travel to DC and mess things up.

I always try to make sure everything is in order here for Earl before I go away - like laundry, grocery shopping, paying the bills, making sure there is cash on hand for him and any other thing that he probably doesn't even give a hoot about. I guess I should pretend every week I am going somewhere and I would truly be organized. I doubt it though. I have been aspiring (sort of) to be that for years.

Now that I have started this I realize I don't have a darn thing to say so I will see you tomorrow.

Love you all bunches

  1. I am looking forward to tomorrow. Things are in disarray here though. Too much canning, the cat is sick and I spent three hours and bunches of money at the vet last night. I have the girls. The house is shot. I will try to put clean sheets on your bed and sweep the floor before you get here. Yikes!

  2. Please, please, please do not do anything extra for me. I don't care if the house is in disarray. If you need me to help you can I will be glad to, as long as I will have time to get a shower on Friday and be ready for Barb Rowe to pick me up for the runion.

Barb is picking me up at the airport about 2:00 p.m. and then she will bring me to the Shyrigh Villa. Looking forward to it.

I hope Henrietta is going to be alright.

  3. I think I mean reunion rather than runion. Runion is a cross between a radish and an onion sometimes used in oriental cooking.

  4. I just want the room service lady to at least clean your room, is that too much to ask of her?! lol

I wondered what a runion was but I didn't want to show my ignorance by asking.

I think Henrietta will be okay. She has some mysterious infection we are treating, but she may be diabetic, have stones, or possibly senility. The doc will figure all that out later and try to extract more of my hard earned dollars.

    See you tomorrow after 2:00!
